A customized workshop was conducted with the Board Members and Operations Manager of the East Shore Internet Society. The purpose of the workshop was to train and develop a new Board and staff, so that everyone would have the same level of understanding regarding effective Board operations, and actions would be developed to move forward. The day consisted of education, facilitation, and exercise intended to reinforce good practises in Board governance and operations. A wide variety of educational topics were covered such as responsibilities, authority, and committee work. The facilitated session discussed areas of communications, establishing priorities, developing strategic plans, and more.
