Crawford Bay Natural Playground is a project that seeks to upgrade the current dated playground equipment in the community playground and replace it with a newly designed and built Natural Playground. We aim to use natural elements and topography to affect great change to the playground and revitalize its use by families and children. Ellie Reynolds

The East Shore Alliance for Early Years local group sponsored the Kindermusik Summer Program where 14 east shore families attended 5 weekly sessions comprised of a 60 minute class, led by licensed educator. Kid’s SMART camp (Science, Movement, Art) was a new program run for four days following Starbelly Jam. Participate ages were five to twelve year olds and the event was help in the Learning Place at Crawford Bay School. Our young families are included in community events that are fun and build friendships. Informal networks need to be strong in local communities as we have few programs or services.
